PAYMENT & HOLIDAYS

PAYMENT POLICY

  1.  All members are set up as an auto draft on the 1st or the 15th of the month.
  2. Payment is due at time of registration and every month thereafter.
  3. There is no sign up fee, but there is a 60-day cancellation policy.  
  4. No refunds will be provided due to lack of attendance. 
  5. Drop-ins are welcome and incur a $20.00 drop fee for each occurrence.
  6. Private Lessons are paid for in advance or at time provided.
  7. Private lesson cancellations should be at least 48-hours in advance.
  8. There are no refunds for a private lesson if you do not show up

HOLIDAYS

James McGar Martial Arts will be closed on the following days. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday we will observe the day before or after and we could observe the entire weekend.
  • January 1 — New Year’s Day – We will reopen after the first of the New Year. 
  • May 31 — Memorial Day, Last Monday in May, 4-day weekend.
  • July 4 —Independence Day, 4-day weekend.
  • September 6 — Labor Day, First Monday in September, 4-day weekend.
  • November 25 — Thanksgiving Day (We will be closed for 4-days depending how date falls)
  • December 25 — Christmas Day (We will be closed for 12-days around Dec 21st to Jan 2nd) 
James McGar Martial Arts reserves the right to be closed for Discretionary Days due to inclement weather for the safety of our students. You as a student, parent or guardian of a student agree to the Discretionary Day policy in consideration of being allowed to sign up at James McGar Martial Arts. You also understand and agree there are no make up classes or refunds for Holidays, Discretionary Days or any other cancelled or missed classes. In addition, James McGar reserves the right to designate four weeks during the course of the year to be closed. You as a new member have read this policy and you therefore knowingly and willfully agree to its terms.
